Melksham Assembly Hall is kicking off 2026 with a packed line-up of entertainment -from cheeky circus fun and stand-up comedy to rock ’n’ roll nostalgia and tributes to music legends.
Whether you’re after a night of laughter, a trip down memory lane or a show-stopping performance that gets you dancing, there’s something for everyone in the coming weeks.
Here is the line-up for the next few weeks.
Forbidden Nights – Friday 30th January.
Forbidden Nights brings its Sexy Circus back to Melksham, with all the acrobatics, dance, fire and excitement they’ve made their signature over the last ten-plus years!
“Ready for a new fantasy? Unleash your inhibitions as Forbidden Nights takes you to a whole new level, delivering more than your wildest dreams,” say the organisers. “Were you excited by the show-stopping performance on Britain’s Got Talent? If you were left craving more, then get ready to experience their live stage show where YOU can be the ultimate judge!
“Whether you’re just looking for an excuse to let loose, celebrating a birthday or planning a sensational hen party, look no further.”
This is an 18-and-over show. No one under 18 will be admitted.

Comedy in Melksham – Saturday 31st January.
Laughter Craft Comedy are returning to Melksham after their sell out first show.
On the bill are three top TV comedians: Sara Pascoe – Live at the Apollo; Felicity Ward – The Office; and Andrew Maxwell – Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week; all held together by Laughter Craft’s Jonathan Elston. For more details, see the separate news story.

We Three Kings of Rock ‘n’ Roll – Saturday 7th February.
The highly successful show, We Three Kings – of Rock n Roll, celebrates the music of three icons of Rock n Roll: Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley.
Roy Orbison, performed by Steve Place, will bring you the back-to-back hits from ‘In Dreams’ to ‘I Drove all Night’.
Marc Robinson from the original ‘Stars in their Eyes’ Show and ‘Buddy’ The Musical creates nostalgic memories with songs that include Heartbeat, It Doesn’t Matter Anymore, ‘Peggy Sue and True Love Ways, backed by his four-piece band, The Counterfeit Crickets.
From the BBC Elvis Show and many more hit shows around Great Britain, Europe and Las Vegas, Steve Halliday, with authentic costume changes, will transport you back to the days of Elvis when Rock n Roll was King!

Majesty – a tribute to Queen – Friday 13th February.
Majesty are the UK’s premiere touring Queen tribute band. For over 10 years, they have been entertaining audiences across the world with the electrifying, energetic stage show to the greatest rock band in the world. Performed by some of the best actors and musicians the UK has to offer, Majesty – a tribute to Queen are “Guaranteed to blow your mind!

The Dreamers – Thursday 5th March
The Dreamers’ Fabulous 50s & Swinging 60s Show is a trip down nostalgia lane for those that can remember the 50s & 60s first time round and a fantastic night out for those who want to experience and missed out on the days of the Fabulous Fifties & Swinging Sixties.
Join funny man Alan Mosca – formerly of Freddie & The Dreamers and the former compère of the 60s touring show The Sensational Sixties Experience as he retells the stories of yesteryear with song and a touch of comedy.
Rave on with Buddy Walker as he brings back to life the look and feel of Buddy Holly; who can forget hits like Oh Boy, True Love Ways plus many more?
Walk Right Back with 2017 National Music Tribute Award Winners The Temple Brothers who are well known throughout the world for their fabulous tribute to The Everly Brothers. Steve & Colin Temple are genuine real life brothers and for over 15 years they have toured with their unique harmonies and uncanny look and feel of Don and Phil, performing songs such as All I Have To Do Is Dream, Let It Be Me, Cathy’s Clown, Crying In The Rain plus many more.
And finally, the awesome Dreamers – formerly Freddie & The Dreamers as they recreate hits including You Were Made For Me, I’m Telling You Now, Over You, If You Gotta Make a Fool of Somebody plus many more.
The Dreamers’ Fabulous 50s & Swinging 60s Show is a two-hour show which has been described as pure class, nostalgia and fun for all the family.

Taylormania – Taylor Swift Eras Tribute Concert – Saturday 7th March.
An award-winning extravaganza that plays tribute to one of the leading contemporary recording artists of our time.
“Katy Ellis a self-obsessed ‘Swiftie’ with an incredible live band and dancers and promises to deliver the most authentic recreation of a Taylor Swift show you will ever see,” say the organisers. “The show has already taken ‘Swiftie’ fans across the world by storm and features all of Taylor’s much loved hits including Shake It Off, Blank Space, Love Story, You Belong With Me, Look What You Made Me Do, I Knew You Were Trouble and many, many more.”
