THERE’S non-stop entertainment at Melksham Assembly Hall in the coming weeks.
On Saturday 16th February, classic BRIT Award winners, Blake – featuring Stephen, Humphrey and Ollie – are back with a brand new UK tour for 2019.
Organisers say, “With over 10 years singing, Brit Award-winning Blake are as fresh as ever! This brand-new tour features the finest songs from all seven chart-topping albums featuring musicals, theatre, cinema and of course classical-crossover.
“With a show that allows the group to share a bit about their lives as well as their musical talent, you will enjoy music from Morricone, Zimmer and Bernstein, as well as incredible takes on more modern classics; you will come away feeling full of joy.”
Tickets cost £22.50.
On Sunday 17th February, the Assesmbly Hall will launch its new monthly roller disco. Organisers say, “After having an amazing response to our New Year roller disco we’ve decided to bring it to Melksham every month starting in February!
“We are putting this on in collaboration with Toe Jam Roller, starting on Sunday 17th February we’ll be having a roller disco on every third Sunday of the month.
“The times are: 2.30pm-4.00pm and 4.30pm-6.00pm. Tickets are £5 which includes skate hire and safety equipment.”
The New Jersey Boys performance scheduled for Friday 15th February has been rescheduled due to ill-health. Organisers say, “As a result we have had to postpone the event to the 5th July. All tickets purchased for this show will remain valid for the 5th July show.
“If you are unable to attend the new date please get in contact with the outlet from which you bought the tickets. The band, the promoter, and our team offer our sincerest apologies and hope that you will be able to join us in July.”
Also coming up at the Assembly Hall, crowds will be entertained by comedy show ‘Trumped – Funding the Wall Tour’, Purple Zeppelin – The Ultimate Rock Tribute Show, and comedian Rich Hall’s Hoedown.
