TWO Melksham men tested their pain thresholds after they had their legs waxed to raise money for charity.
Ian McCaughan and Matthew Hiscocks who work for Co-op Travel on the High Street raised £136 for ABTA Lifeline a charity who help people who suffer difficulties whilst on their travels.
The pair had an audience watch them as the wax took place at Tops.
Ian said, “It was more painful than what I expected, but we are really pleased with how much we raised, so thank you to everyone that donated.
“It is not something I really want to do again but if it was for charity then maybe.”
Matthew added, “It was worse than I thought it would be but I am happy with the amount raised.
“I have been getting so much stick in the gym about my legs!’”
