Broughton Gifford Bowls Club will be holding an open day on Saturday 12th May, starting at 11am and continuing throughout the afternoon.
The club says, “Anyone who would like to come along and try the game would receive expert coaching and guidance. Broughton Gifford prides itself on being a friendly and sociable club, whilst the game itself provides light exercise, which in turn improves fitness, flexibility and coordination. The game is played equally well by both ladies and gentlemen of all ages and the club would welcome new members.
“The club is situated at the rear of the Bell on the Common public house. All the club asks is the wearing of flat soled footwear, all other equipment will be provided on the day. A friendly chat and free refreshments will also be provided.
