Melksham Comic-Con’s next fundraiser is really creating a buzz throughout the town as word is beginning to spread about their VIP guest who will be hosting a special black tie charity ball.
Owner of Wayne Enterprise and board member of the Wayne Foundation, Mr Bruce Wayne himself will be visiting Melksham on Saturday 2nd April to help raise funds for Melksham Comic-Con, Bath Royal United Hospital NICU and maternity units.
The glamourous evening will feature live music from The Gotham City Players and tickets will be limited to just 150 lucky people.
With a red carpet entry, canapes, glass of bubbly on arrival, and a special presentation from Mr Wayne, this is an evening not to be missed.
The Wayne Foundation security team has assured the organisers that the recent disturbances in Gotham, more specifically the issues at Arkham Asylum, will not affect Mr Wayne visiting Melksham, and additional security will be provided to ensure an enjoyable evening for all.
Hayley Spencer, director of Melksham Comic-Con says, “We are so lucky to have been able to secure Bruce Wayne for this event. He is such a great supporter of the arts and advancing medical care and we are very pleased that The Wayne Foundation are supporting our efforts.”
An Evening with Bruce Wayne takes place on Saturday 2nd April at Melksham Assembly Hall. Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale now from KomiX at £20 each. You can buy in store, or by emailing melkshamcomiccon@gmail.com to purchase online.
