Wiltshire Council are a currently conducting a consultation on the bus services that they subsidise in Wiltshire.
They are having to make savings, and the Melksham bus services that may be affected include the X34, X72, 68/69, 14 and 271. Additionally under review are the HCB, 86 and X86 serving Semington/Holt and the 49 through Seend.
Anyone who uses any of these buses now or may use them in future is encouraged to complete the survey. There is a link to the online version on the town council’s website – www.melkshamtown.co.uk – and paper copies can be picked up from the Town Hall.
