Organisers of Melksham’s 2015 Party in the Park are promising their best ever line-up.
The annual open-air musical event attracts about 6,000 people and will take place on Saturday 18th July at the town’s King George V playing field.
The event has been running since 2000 and gives local musicians, as well as those from farther afield, the chance to showcase their talents. This in turn provides wonderful entertainment for people of all ages and musical tastes; from pop to folk, rock to jazz and from classical to west end musicals.
The Party in the Park also offers local businesses the opportunity to promote their goods and services. Many businesses report a commercial boost from attending the event and come back year after year. Stalls are now available for hire but the demand is brisk.
A limited number of stalls are also available free of charge to local clubs, schools, charities and other non-profit making organisations, and are being allocated on a first come, first served basis.
