A LOCAL election will be held to appoint a town councillor for the North Ward of Melksham, on Thursday 14th February between 7am and 10pm.
All residents living in the voting area will have received their polling cards in the post.
The candidates are: Sue Brown, Conservative Party Candidate, proposed by Philip Alford and seconded by Helen Alford. Clive Willis Jeffries, Liberal Democrats, proposed by Ene Opik and seconded by Deborah T Tunney.
The following will be used as Polling Stations:
• Baptist Church Schoolroom, Old Broughton Road, Melksham 1 FN1-1 to FN1-832; Melksham 1 FN5-1 to FN5-88; Melksham 2 FN2-1 to FN2-1108
• Forest Community Centre, Bowmans Court, Melksham, Wiltshire 3 FN3-1 to FN3-948
• Melksham Skills Centre, (formerly St Andrew’s Church schoolroom), Church Lane, Melksham 4 FN4-1 to FN4-742; Melksham 4 ZY2-1 to ZY2-6; Melksham 4 ZY3-1 to ZY3-6; Melksham 4 ZZ7-1 to ZZ7-181
