CARE workers in Melksham have been backing this year’s Operation Christmas Child appeal.
The team at Somerset Care, on Challeymead Business Park, have filled 14 boxes with gifts and treats, to send to children who may not receive anything else this Christmas.
Business manager Jenny Futcher said, “This is an amazing appeal to get involved in, and we are fortunate to be able to give and receive so many gifts over Christmas. To think of children who may not get anything at all is heart-breaking. We hope that our gifts make some children very happy on Christmas morning.”
The Melksham-based team is part of Somerset Care, one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare providers in Southern England.
