Over the Christmas period, ‘that meeting space’ will be open for the community with a carol service and its usual Tuesday drop-in session.
On Christmas Eve, Tuesday 24th December, join in with a carol service between 10.30am and 12pm and enjoy a hot drink and mince pie.
Following this, the usual Tuesday morning drop-in session will run on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday 31st December.
Administrator of ‘that meeting space,’ John Firth said, “The drop-in has been welcoming anyone who would like to come to a safe space to chat and meet people for more than three years. It is fine to come on your own or with friends.
“We would also be delighted to welcome you any Tuesday morning to enjoy a cuppa and a natter with a friendly group of people.
“It has been wonderful to see people, some of whom had felt isolated and lonely, connecting with others. It has been a catalyst for many to get involved with other community activities.”
Other groups meeting at ‘that meeting space’ will also be taking a break over the Christmas period.
The Red Door Singers will return on Tuesday 7th January at 1.30pm
