Melksham Pride Festival returns with a day of celebrations on Saturday, 24th June, at Melksham Assembly Hall.
The day is split into two events: the first being the popular daytime event, running from 10am to 4pm including a variety of stalls, selling crafts, merchandise and food. Popular favourites return such as Hodges Homemade, as well as new local businesses like Crafty Gnome.
At the health and wellbeing zone, seek support and advice from local and national charities and organisations, such as the NHS. Food and drink at affordable prices is on sale from the tuck shop.
One of the organisers from Proud Melksham, Ryan Clarke said, “We are pleased to announce the full lineup and poster for Melksham Pride Festival 2023! And how can we forget? A main stage full to the brim with entertainment! Our resident host Miss Lucy Luscious Lips returns, presenting a lineup that will get you up and dancing. Miss Jam Tart will be singing us in, the incredible Clare Deloon will be tearing up the rulebook, and the legendary Billy and Louie will close us out, and don’t worry, Lipsync for your life returns too.
“The daytime event breaks at 4pm, giving us all a chance to recharge before our evening afterparty!
“The afterparty is an adult only event with doors open from 7pm. Join us for Diva Nights, a tribute to your favourite powerful female vocalists. Annie Kadabraa returns with her magic show, with a twist! And our headline act Moonstruck, a tribute to CHER closes a day filled to the brim.
“We are beyond ourselves with excitement! We can’t wait to see you there!”
Tickets for the family friendly event are available in advance or on the door on the day. The daytime event is £3 and free for under 16s. Everyone is welcome.
The evening afterparty is £7, for over 18s only. There is an £8 saver ticket on offer, for anyone who would like to attend both events, saving £2. To order your tickets in advance, head to www.ticketsource.co.uk/ proudmelksham
