THE White Hart at Atworth is hosting a charity race night and Halloween bash in the coming weeks for all the community to get involved with.
This Friday, 11th October from 7pm to 10pm the pub is hosting a race night to raise money for Wiltshire Mind.
Organisers say, “We are back for a another fun packed night of televised horse racing, all for charity. This race night we have chosen Wiltshire Mind on behalf of Mental Health Awareness Week.
“There will be a themed food and drink menu, so grab your friends and come enjoy something a little different all while raising money and awareness for a great health charity. The first race is at 7.30pm.”
There will be eight races. £2.50 entry fee, £1 per bet. (Entry fee and 50% of each race goes to charity).
On Friday 25th October, the White Hart will host its annual Halloween bash from 9pm to 11.30pm. There will be music on the night from local band Custryd Pye, who play classic rock, Americana, blues and rock music. Fancy dress is encouraged.
