Children from The Manor Primary School Christmas Choir performed at Leekes as part of their Christmas Celebration Weekend.
The children entertained the crowd with carols including Jingle Bells, We Wish you a Merry Christmas and O Come All Ye Faithful.
They were accompanied on the keyboard by Mark Cheeseman, who teaches weekly singing lessons at the school and leads the choir.
Money raised from the Christmas Celebration Weekend at Leekes is donated to local charities.
Becky Penny, who leads music at The Manor Primary School, said, “We are very proud of the children for their wonderful performance at Leekes and the lovely feedback from the public who crowded around to listen. We would like to thank Leekes for allowing us to perform and look forward to our other Christmas performances in the days ahead.”
The school organises a Christmas choir each year that performs at venues around Melksham, including at the Rachel Fowler Centre and local care homes. Last week they performed at the school’s Christmas Fair on Friday 6th December.
