Choral Society looking for new members

Rehearsals are now underway for our April concert and we are looking for more members. 

“Currently we are rehearsing ‘The Little Jazz Mass’ by Bob Chilcott,” said Sheila Jackson  “We are also including in our programme several Frank Sinatra numbers, which have been arranged for four voices.

“If you love singing then you will certainly enjoy the selection of music we have chosen for this concert.  We are a very friendly, helpful and supportive group of people who enjoy singing.

“If your singing is a bit rusty, or if you have never sung before but would like to give it a try, please join us, we will be pleased to see you. Remember singing is a lovely way to be healthy and stay healthy by just sitting and singing.  Our musical director is a professional singer and he gently encourages us to produce the lovely warm sound for which we are famous.

“We meet every Thursday during term time at the Rachel Fowler Centre at 7.30pm.  Come along and you will receive a warm welcome.”
