WILTSHIRE Sight is offering support and advice to people living with sight loss in Melksham.
Hosted at Melksham Library, the charity holds regular community teas, offering a chance for conversation, cake and support.
They also host regular drop-in information sessions giving people living with sight loss, and the people around them, an opportunity to receive information and advice; discover new resources to help with daily living; and meet others with sight loss.
Community sight loss adviser, Alan Whetherly says, “The last community tea for 2019 will be held on Friday 13th December at Melksham Library from 2pm-4pm – and there might be a special festive visitor!
“The dates for the first three community teas of 2020 are as follows: Friday 10th January, Friday 14th February, and Friday 13th March. These sessions will be held at Melksham Library from 2-4pm
“Finally, just a reminder that our drop-in information sessions at Melksham Library are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 1-3pm. This is an opportunity to discuss any issues relating to sight loss on a one-to-one basis.
