PUPILS at Melksham’s Aloeric School got into the Christmas spirit by putting on nativity plays and visiting a live nativity scene in Shaw.
Key Stage 1 pupils held a traditional nativity and lower Key Stage 2 pupils put on their ‘Superstar’ play. Children in the Ladybird class visited the ‘Follow the Star’ nativity scene at a stable in Shaw, which raises money for The British Heart Foundation.
Pupils also wore their Christmas jumpers to school on the last day of term. In exchange for being allowed to do this, they brought in a donation of food for the Melksham Foodbank.
