THE annual sale of Christmas Cards for Good Causes is now up and running in the Tourist Information Centre, along with a range of local gifts.
The cards include a Wiltshire Air Ambulance selection plus the charity’s 2024 Diary, together with a selection of Melksham Christmas Cards, hand-painted by a local artist. “You might like to send these to your special friends or family members,” says a spokesperson for TIC, based in Church Street.
“This year, we are pleased to add to our collection of Melksham mugs, mats and tea towels, which can be purchased either individually or as a bundle, any or all of which could solve the problem of, ‘Oh dear, what can I get for…?’. We also have on sale tea towels with designs around Bromham, another problem solved, particularly if you live in that neck of the woods. Our stalwarts of key rings, fridge magnets and much more continue unabated and the Christmas stamps are now available.
“Wiltshire honey maintains its popularity and, remember of course, a book or a jigsaw can also fill a gap under the Christmas tree!
“So, next time you are in town, don’t stand in a queue or the rain to buy stamps at the Post Office, pop into the Tourist Information Centre where you will receive a friendly welcome from the staff who look forward to seeing you and browse at leisure in the warm without any hassle!
“Not sure if we sell it? You may telephone us on 01225 707 424 when we will do our best to help, and meanwhile, may we wish all our customers a very Happy Christmas and a really wonderful 2024.”
