MELKSHAM-based charity, Harmony, is gearing up to celebrate its first anniversary helping and supporting local young people get into music.
To mark one year since the organisation opened its doors on the High Street, Harmony will be hosting a party with live music throughout the day.
Head of retail for Harmony, Lianne Miller-Hall said, “We will be having live music from Heather Kerr, Kieran White, Ellie Crane, Kat Tape and a ukulele band.
“We are also making a large donation of guitars to Melksham Oak School in the morning, which we are really excited about.”
There will also be a raffle, guess the number of sweets in the jar game and a competition to guess the name of a teddy bear, as well as other good offers during the day.
“We really hope all our customers will come and help us celebrate our first year with us.
“I want to say a big thank you to all our customers for their support.”
The first anniversary party will take place on Saturday 2nd September from 9am at the Harmony charity shop at 24 High Street. Harmony is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am until 4pm. For anyone wanting to drop off donations by car for the charity shop, Harmony has a parking space at the rear of the shop.
