ARTISTS of all skill levels can share their love of painting with others at ‘Art is Joyous’.
The local art group meets at The Boundary cricket pavilion, located in the grounds of Melksham House, on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10am-12pm.
Here you will find a small group of artists producing some wonderful art, primarily in watercolour, supported by local artist Joy Jefferys, who is on hand to help and guide the artists whether they are absolute beginners or accomplished painters.
Joy says, “Lockdown inevitably meant the group couldn’t meet, but Zoom was surprisingly effective. It was a great way of connecting with each other and getting on with our love of painting. The group produced some wonderful paintings.”
The group has been on a break whilst Joy has been exhibiting her own work at Wadswick Green retirement village during The Peacock Arts Trail. But it will be back to business as usual at The Boundary next week on the 5th and 6th of October.
