Dorothy House Hospice Care need your help to develop their day service provision.
Dorothy House Hospice Care wants to hear from those with a life-limiting illness, their carers and families about what day services they think would improve their wellbeing.
Dorothy House want to develop their day services provision so that it appeals to a wider diversity of people across their catchment area. They have asked Evolving Communities CIC to work with them to gather the views of those people who may be eligible to use their services, on what future provision should look like.
Dorothy House Hospice Care say, “We are particularly interested in those who are eligible to use the day services provided by Dorothy House but who do not currently do so. We would also like to hear from families, friends and unpaid carers of those with a life limiting illness (including those who have lost close friends and family) and from stakeholders/staff who work with people who have life-limiting illnesses, so please also share with your colleagues.
What would we like you to do?
“We are running a short, online survey that asks people whether they have ever considered using the day services provided by Dorothy House and if not, why? It also asks people to put forward their ideas/suggestions for new groups that they believe would attract a wider range of people to come along.
“We would be most grateful if you could help us to promote the survey to your patients, members, residents and tenants. Please forward details of the online survey below and share on your social media channels.
“The online survey has a map of the areas served by Dorothy House. Visit www. smartsurvey. co.uk/s/DHdayservices/ to take part. The survey closes 5th January 2020.
