MELKSHAM Music and Drama is holding a 16-hour sing-a-thon to raise funds for the group, following difficulties finding a sponsor for their upcoming show Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
On Tuesday 12th August, the group will be based at the Rachel Fowler Centre from 8am until midnight, singing a mix of songs, with a bit of Joseph mixed in. At 7.30pm, they will be holding a concert of the best songs from the day.
Donations to support the group can be made through a Just Giving page. Chair, Amy Fletcher said, “We will be asking those that donate through just giving to request a song in the comments section and then we will live streaming us singing their request through our Facebook page, as a way to say thank you.”
