SINGIN’ Group organiser Jeanette Nash held a raffle and an Easter Bonnet Parade for the Wednesday Singin’ session on 5th April.
Easter Bonnet winners were Val Jenks and Helen Hall; Best bunny ears went to Marie Love and Elaine Lewis.
Cllr Sue Mortimer from the group said, “The real winner was from the money raised by the raffle and generous donations totalling £150 which went to Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.
“Many thanks to all who came and took part in the usual Singin’ mayhem, Easter fun and parted with their cash. Round of applause for Jeanette and also Geoff, who stepped in at the last minute to take Mike’s place. Get well soon Mike from everyone at the Singin’ Group.”
