MELKSHAM Electronic Organ Club is presenting a special concert with guest Chris Powell performing.
Chris Powell is firmly established as one of the UK’s premier ‘entertainment organists’ as well as a truly international ambassador in the field of electronic and theatre organ music. By the time he was 18, he had successfully auditioned to join the team of organists playing for dancing at the Tower Ballroom Blackpool and began to be recognised for his musical talents, leading to a succession of invitations to perform at electronic and pipe organ venues.
Since then, he has gone on to become one of the most popular performers in the UK and frequently performs overseas concert tours which have included Holland, Australia, USA and New Zealand in recent years.
The event is to take place on Tuesday 15th October at Melksham Assembly Hall. with both members and non-members welcome. Doors open at 6.30pm and the concert starts at 7.30pm.
