Melksham Motor Spares continued their year of fundraising for Dorothy House on October 3rd, when one of their brave staff members, Mark Bailey, shaved his head and dyed his beard bright purple.
Mark said he was keen to be involved with the company’s yearlong fundraising efforts for such a brilliant cause and did so in style, raising over £500.
The close shave took place at ‘Strictly His’ in King Street, Melksham. Mark was very pleased with the response to his efforts.
He said, “I just want to thank everyone for their generosity and support as well as everyone’s good humour at the end result! Special thanks to Angie at ‘Strictly His’ for giving her time, products and services free of charge to support the challenge.”
Managing director Phil Dodd added, “We continue to be overwhelmed by the support and generosity from everyone and our staff have been brilliant getting involved. Mark has raised a fantastic amount and he is certainly easy to spot now!”
The amount raised so far this year by Melksham Motor Spares for Dorothy House is £5,500.
