An empty shop on Bank Street will be transformed into a pop-up community space with crafts and storytelling to celebrate Advent, opening on Saturday mornings.
The building, at 21 Bank Street on the high pavement, has been rented for the month by a group offering crafts, storytelling and Christmas fun from 10am to 12pm on 6th, 13th and 20th December.
The shop front will also display an Advent calendar counting down the days until Christmas.
One of the organisers, John Firth, said, “We have decided to bring the message of Christmas to the high street. Stop by and have a look. Christians from all over Melksham are working together to make this a welcoming and fun place on these Saturday mornings. We would love you to come and enjoy what is on offer.”
