MELKSHAM Rugby Football Club is hosting a sportsman’s dinner to raise money for its new facility.
The club will be welcoming former England and Bath legend, David Trick, as the guest speaker for the evening.
Better known as ‘Tricky’, David represented England at every level from under-16s through to international, and joined Bath RFC in 1978 whilst still at school. He played almost 300 games for the club, scoring 191 tries.
Tricky toured Argentina and South Africa with the England team and played 12 games, scoring 11 tries, between 1980 and 1986.
The sportsman’s dinner is on Friday 28th July. Tickets are limited for the three-course meal, costing £30 each. They can be purchased from Mark Simmons or Richard Jones by calling 07926 929858.
