WILTSHIRE Family Learning is offering two opportunities across Melksham for parents and carers looking for extra support.
Wiltshire Family Learning has joined with River Mead Primary School to offer parents and carers guidance with helping their children with homework.
They are hosting a free course at River Mead School of five sessions, starting on Monday 16th April from 1pm-3pm.
During the course they will teach you how to support your child with maths, teach parents and carers the ways children learn maths at school, and also to improve your own maths skills.
The team at Wiltshire Family Learning is also working with Canberra Children’s Centre to hold a confidence and new directions course.
This free course lasts for five weeks and helps to teach parents and carers ways to feel positive, motivated and how to set goals. It helps to teach you how to make time for yourself, steps to improve your confidence, how to manage stress and free childcare.
The sessions begin at Canberra’s Children’s Centre on Thursday 19th April 12.45pm-2.45pm.
