The Abbott family completed a sponsored walk last month along the canal from Semington to the top of Caen Hill Locks, Devizes, raising £457 for Alzheimer’s Support.
The family were raising money in memory of Peter Abbott who attended Alzheimer’s Support’s centre in Devizes, once a week for many years until he died in March this year.
The family said, “It was great to be out on such a lovely sunny day, raising money on the way.”
Peter’s wife Enid would like to thank family, friends and members of the public for their support, encouragement and generosity.
