A FRIENDSHIP Group is being set up by DJ Bewley Funeral Directors in partnership with Melksham United Church.
The group will meet every other Tuesday between 2.30pm and 4pm starting on Tuesday 10th November at the Melksham United Church.
Patrik Bewley said, “So many times people come to us after a bereavement and say how lonely they are once friends and family have returned to their everyday lives. With this in mind, we decided to form The Friendship Group.
“It’s an opportunity to interact with other people who may be feeling lonely after a bereavement of a friend or loved one. But it is only a chance to meet new people and make new friends. There will be light refreshments provided and the chance to participate in various games and activities. The group is suitable for everyone. There will be a £2 charge to cover the cost of refreshments but all activities are free. There is no requirement to attend every session.
“We would love to see you at our very first session on the 10th.”
