The South West in Bloom Melksham Group has an exciting plan to adorn Melksham with colour this summer.
As well as filling the town with flowers, the group plans to add another level of colour by having a fluttering flow of festive flags flying throughout the town in summer.
The flags will be handmade by volunteers out of recycled hot air balloon material from the Wiltshire Scrap Store, and will feature designs and themes of the groups and business who want to get involved.
In order to get started, a flagmaking day has been set for Saturday 25th February at the Town Hall.
