DAISYCHAIN Day Nursery is hosting an open morning next week for parents and carers to find out more about their facilities
“Are you looking for a place where your child can learn and grow at their own pace, a place filled with adventure?” asks Sarah Radford, the owner of the nursery, which is located in Whitley. “Do you seek an environment where your little one is safe to explore and discover?
“Then come and visit us on Saturday 31st July 10am to 1pm no appointment needed. We are offering a 50% reduced administration fee for anyone who books a space within 7 days of visiting the open day regardless of the start date.”
Daisychain Day Nursery was established in April 2006 and over the years it has undergone extensive renovation, now boasting three large, bright, open planned units; a two-storey purpose built soft play; individual gardens; catering standard kitchen; and a substantial off-road parking area.
It is open throughout the year from 8am to 6pm, excluding Bank Holidays. And the nursery offers full time, full day, morning and afternoon sessions, and it accepts the pre-school education grant.
About what sets them apart from other nurseries, Sarah says, “It’s hard to bottle what makes us different, but it could be that: ‘The warmth and natural friendliness that you will experience from all of our staff from the moment you step inside, whether on a visit, a settling in session or just day to day, it’s in our blood.’
“We are passionate and united in creating something really special, the fact that we all love working with children and believe in what we do helps us come together to create the fantastic high-quality childcare that we have become known for and the reason that parents choose to entrust us with their children time and time again.
“We ensure that each child is given the best possible start in life by receiving the highest level of personalised care whilst creating a rich learning environment where every child is given the challenge and support needed to achieve their full potential.
“It is our aim to foster an ethos of effective partnerships between families, agencies, schools and the wider community.
“Life is all about care and respect for others. We believe it is vital for children to become part of a social group outside of the home, whilst being at nursery they can make friends with whom they can learn and share, take turns and role model each other.
“We feel very strongly that children should respect each other and begin to understand that there will be differences and similarities between one another. We encourage children to express their feelings in a positive way, and to respect each other’s opinions.”
