Melksham Rock ‘n Roll Club will welcome back The Firebirds on Saturday 21st December, from 7.30pm, with the band keen to keep Melksham rocking.
Recognised as one of the country’s top rock n’ roll bands, they perform a whole spectrum of music from the 50s and 60s, from rockabilly to harmonised doo wop, to ballads to self-penned numbers.
The band – Jim Plummer, Dan Plummer, Rich Lorriman and Paul Willmott, four first class musicians/vocalists – have performed alongside Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Lonnie Donegan as well as the Holladay Sisters (Elvis’ original backing singers) and are regularly invited to perform at Europe’s top rock ‘n’ roll festivals
