Melksham Music and Drama (MMAD) are in full swing with rehearsals for their September show ‘First Love’.
A couple go on their first date and wanting to impress the girl, the boy takes her to a bar where they can dance and sing. When the main character turns up at the bar he finds his mates are there and just about anything could happen. Romance, cheating, break ups, arguments, and this all leads to a fight in the bar!! Will the main character ever date his chosen lady again? Will she want to go on another date following this disastrous first date?
MMAD enjoy singing and dancing and have two very talented choreographers who have put together some great dances for this romantic rock comedy, that is something completely different from their usual genre.
Penelope Taylor, who is also starring in the show, (seen in picture, demonstrating one of the challenging lifts with co-partner Steve Forbes), and Katie Mence, who despite being busy at the dance studio where she teaches all genre of dance, has joined forces to create some energetic dances. Both Penelope and Katie have pulled out the stops to challenge the cast. Choreographing dances to rock music has also be a new experience for them. They said they wanted to make the dances as explosive and exciting as the music.
Justin Haggett is the director and is enthusiastic to showcase MMAD in this very new style of MMAD entertainment. Justin wanted this to be something new and exciting. Tickets are on sale and selling fast, so to avoid disappointment you can get your tickets now.
