The first Tidy Town Day of the new year will take place on Sunday 8th January. Having been successfully running every month for the past two years, organisers say that 2017 will be no exception!
“Everyone is welcome to meet at the Town Hall at 1pm, in suitable outdoor clothing. Tools and bags and tea and cake will be provided.
“The new Melksham community voucher which replaces the old Wiltshire time credit will be used – it still works along the same lines, two hours’ litter picking earns you two vouchers which can be spent on one movie at Melksham Assembly Hall (among other things).
“If you have any of the old green time credits you can exchange them for new pink community vouchers, which are now ready at the Town Hall.”
