A FORMER George Ward student is celebrating after her new book hit the top of the Amazon Best Sellers list.
Best known in the town for winning Classic FM’s Singer of the Year at the age of 17 in 2007, Rhiannon Lambert is now a nutritionist based on London’s Harley Street, specialising in weight management, eating disorders and sports nutrition.
Her first book, ‘Re-Nourish: A Simple Way to Eat Well,’ was released at the end of December and currently sits at number one in the Amazon Best Sellers list for food science.
Described as part handbook and part cookbook, Rhiannon shares her food philosophy to inform, inspire and help her readers fall back in love with food, with a simple approach to eating well, free from dieting and restriction.
Speaking to Melksham News about her recent success Rhiannon said, “Honestly, I’m honoured to be part of a movement demanding qualified professionals as the authoritative voices in nutrition and health. Above all else, I’m delighted there is now a resource offering a back to basics guide to your health and making nutrition accessible for everyone.”
To celebrate the launch of her book, Rhiannon hosted a party at the Royal Albert Hall. “It was a dream come true to hold my launch somewhere I call my second home,” said Rhiannon. “I’ve worked at the Royal Albert Hall for over 10 years with it being one of my jobs when I came to London from Wiltshire as an aspiring soprano.”
About what is coming up next for her, Rhiannon said, “There’s already so much to look forward to in 2018 but above all else, I want to continue fighting diet culture and sharing the importance of building healthy relationships with food.”
