Feeling stressed, worried, upset or low?
Extended Services (Melksham Area) is a small local charity, working with children, young people and their families in Melksham.
Time to talk is funded by Extended Services (Melksham Area) and provides three hours counselling and support for young people (11 – 19yrs) every Thursday at Melksham Library from 4.00pm until 7.00pm.
Time to Talk is delivered by a professional counsellor from Off the Record who provides a confidential space and creates a supportive environment; listening and supporting a young person and helping them to find their own answers.
Time to Talk is free to young people who are able to access the service by self-referral through the Extended Services (Melksham Area) website or other media sources; professionals are also able to refer a young person to the service.
Angie Rawlins, manager, Extended Services (Melksham Area) said, “No issue is too small – if it is worrying you and causing you to feel low or upset, then please make contact as there is someone who will listen and support you.”
