Come along to the 55+ Monday club on Monday 6th July, at the Forest Community Centre and indulge to your heart’s content with the Horseshoe game.
The organisers say, “See how near the pole your horseshoe can land, everybody who fancies the accuracy of their throw should enjoy this session.
“The club meets at the centre on the first Monday of each month, offering a variety of fun games, giving people the chance of exercise, fun and meeting new friends. Each session incorporates the singalong sessions, which usually involve a fair bit of audience participation on the dance floor, tea and cakes are served, raffles and usually a short quiz to get the grey matter working.
“All in all, an enjoyable afternoon and all for the cost of £3. The community bus offers lifts, but this needs to be booked at the Tourist Information Centre, phone 707424.
