THERE is still time for young people in Seend and Shaw to take part in Wiltshire Council’s ‘Get Active’ programme.
The popular, multi-sport ‘Fun in the Sun’ programme is a 90-minute session of outdoor games, activities and sports aimed at young people aged five to 11 years old. The event is free to attend.
The programme provides high quality multi-sports coaching provided by Wiltshire Cricket and Innov8 Sportz. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new friends, have fun and stay active. Children must bring with them a completed consent form. These can be downloaded from the web page or collected at their first session of attendance. Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
Local sessions are available in Seend and Shaw this Friday, 17th August, and 24th of August. Seend sessions take place at The Lye Field from 12.30-2pm. Shaw sessions take place at The Playing Field from 2.30-4pm.
