The Melksham Gardeners’ Society had a busy September with the 10th Annual Show held on the 9th, with a slew of prizes handed out, and then a talk on 25th September on Preserving your Produce by Judith Dawson at the Rachel Fowler Centre.
The group says, “There were some very useful tips on different methods of preserving and storing our fruits and vegetable for the following year.
“Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 30th October at the Rachel Fowler Centre at 7.30pm with a talk by Kate Collyns on Dealing with Pests.
“New members and guests are always welcome. Door entry is £1 for members, £2 for guests and our annual membership is £10 – tea, coffee and biscuits are also available for 50p at each meeting.”
