MELKSHAM Gardeners’ Society will be holding its ninth annual flower and produce show on Sunday 10th September.
The show will be held at the Assembly Hall from 2pm to 4.30pm, with Mayor of Melksham, cllr Adrienne Westbrook presenting prizes at 4pm.
The Melksham in Bloom prizes will be handed out directly after the event.
Entrance costs £2.50 per adult (children go free) and there are over 80 different classes on display, including fruit, vegetables, photography, baking, preserves and Young Gardeners.
There will also be plant sales, garden advice and craft stalls.
There is still time to enter the classes. You can collect or download entry forms from Melksham Town Hall, Melksham Without, Tourist Office, Flowers In Focus or on the website www.melksham gardenerssociety.co.uk
Children who have grown a sunflower from the seed they planted at the Countrywide Show, are reminded to bring the head to enter the closed competition for the largest sunflower head.
