AT Melksham Assembly Hall’s inaugural quiz night Melksham News presented a ‘fast and frantic’ news round, quizzing locals on news from around the town.
The first quiz night took place on Thursday 26th January and included rounds such as sport, film and TV, music, who am I?
And a news round presented by Joe McCann, operations manager at Melksham News, who was dressed for the occasion in a gold and sequinned outfit.
He said, “It was great fun to be able to present the sport and news round at the inaugural Assembly Hall quiz!”
Kevin from the Melksham Assembly Hall team said, “The first quiz night was really good. We had allowed for a maximum of 20 teams and had 15 in, so we were pleased with that. We also got some really helpful feedback from people, as we asked for as much as possible to help the event next time. All in all, it was a success!”
The next quiz will be held on Thursday 23rd February at 7.30pm. It costs £5 per team, with up to five people being in a team.
