TWO friends preparing to take on the challenge of a lifetime in the Arctic Circle, travelling over 250km on dog sleds, have organised a go-karting event to help raise money for their chosen charity.
Melksham local, Waine Graham, and his friend Martin Cox, will spend five days next April travelling from Tromso in Norway to Jukkasjarvi in Sweden. The pair are hoping to raise over £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to both their hearts.
The go-karting fundraiser will be held at M4 Karting at Hullavington Airfield on Friday 12th October. Waine says, “Enjoy a team building session where you not only have fun, but you will be helping a great cause. Teams of between six and eight will compete against other like-minded teams around an awesome circuit ar M4 Karting. You can enter as many teams as you like. Refreshments will be available throughout.”
