A MAN from Brighton, 26-year-old Joseph Hiles, was arrested in Wiltshire on Friday 3rd October for the series of graffiti defacement to local town businesses and Grade II listed buildings in Melksham between 17th and 18th August.
This investigation was helped along by the community of Melksham and PC Kane Fulbrook-Smith wants to thank those individuals in assisting with the investigation. As a result of this arrest, Joseph Hiles was charged with the offences and will be appearing in court on 23rd October.
Community beat manager, Kane Fulbrook-Smith said, “This is a prime example of how the local NPT and the community worked together to detect crime in their neighbourhood. It is a great feeling when all the hard work comes together with very little to go on from the outset.”
