Local opticians Haine & Smith have excelled in Which? magazine’s recent survey of eye test providers. Which? surveyed over 10,000 people about their experience to determine which companies rated best and worst for eye tests, including quality of customer service and thoroughness of tests.
The data shows how customers rated all opticians, from the large chains to small independents. Haine & Smith excelled with the second-highest customer score of 90%, beating all the major chains like Specsavers, Boots, and Vision Express.
Angela Davey, managing partner at Haine & Smith commented, “We’re thrilled to be named as the No. 2 eye test provider in the UK. It’s a true honour to be acknowledged for our exceptional service and commitment to patient care. Our heartfelt thanks go out to every member of our team across our practices. Their dedication and hard work have made this achievement possible.”
Which? magazine conducts the eye test provider survey every two years. This year, the survey showed that consumers prefer the service of independents and smaller opticians, with Haine & Smith being the leading smaller, independent optician in the country.
“We pride ourselves on the quality of our customer service, and this survey is a testimony to our efforts to ensure the delivery of excellent eye care,” added Angela.
Haine & Smith has 20 practices in and around Wiltshire including in Melksham precinct.
