MELKSHAM is considering a fitting way to celebrate a very special birthday. The town council says, “Her Majesty the Queen will celebrate her 90th birthday in June 2016.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to join in with the national celebration, and Melksham Town Council believe that a huge Tea Party in King George V Playing Field would be a fitting way to celebrate the occasion.
“A group will be set up so that people who would like to get involved can share ideas and resources. Any groups, churches, schools, business or individuals who would like to get involved can contact miriam@melkshamtown.co.uk or call 01225 704187.”
