The Kings Arms in Melksham has received its second revamp in accommodation with its 10 original bedrooms receiving a full makeover in a £365,000 investment. The pub, which built three brand new rooms in outbuildings last year, has now been fully refreshed by independent family brewers and pub owners, Wadworth.
The rooms have been fully refurbished with updated bathrooms, soft furnishings and décor and brand new furniture throughout. They have retained many of their original features, ensuring that a stay at the market town hotel is still unique. Alongside the new rooms, the pub has also benefitted from a refresh and new toilets, making the pub a great location for small weddings and private parties, with overnight accommodation.
Speaking about the makeover, regional development manager for Wadworth, Denise Sheridan said, “We are really pleased that we have completed the renovation of the Kings Arms in Melksham. Our new rooms will now welcome visitors to the town and the wonderful county of Wiltshire, where they can enjoy so many fantastic places whilst staying in a historic, quintessential inn”.
Wadworth is continuing to invest in Wiltshire with two further pub schemes completing at the Cross Keys in Wanborough totalling £280,000 and £70,000 spent on the Waggon & Horses in Beckhampton. The company now has over 270 pubs across their west country pub estate.
