Joel Dommett, stand-up comedian and actor is set to appear at Melksham’s Assembly Hall on Thursday 29th June 2017 but you’ll have to be quick if you want to see him as tickets are selling fast!
Fresh from his time on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, one of the UK’s most energetic and exciting comedians returns to the road with his solo show, Joel Dommett: Live. Joel came onto the comedy scene in 2007 and has never looked back. After receiving great critical acclaim for his Edinburgh Fringe shows, he has gone on to appear in numerous television shows including; Impractical Jokers (BBC3), Reality Bites (ITV2), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC), Drunk History (Comedy Central), and has performed in acting roles for Popatron (BBC2) and Skins (E4).
And he really hit the headlines with his stint on the I’m A Celebrity, one of Britain’s best watched TV shows.
The Assembly Hall’s manager Tim Cross said, “We’re really looking forward to welcoming Joel to Melksham. We did have Joel booked as part of our Comedy Showcase in the summer but had to cancel because of poor ticket sales. It was disappointing but it does show we have our finger on the pulse with upcoming talent!
“We haven’t had any trouble selling tickets this time though – we sold over 250 in less than 24 hours and expect to have sold out by the end of the week.”

The Assembly Hall boasts a line-up of exciting acts scheduled to perform in the coming months including comedian Mark Steel on Thursday 8th December, Pop-Up Bowie – A Tribute to David Bowie on Friday 16th December and a New Years Eve Party on December 31st featuring live music from 13 piece soul band The Soul Destroyers.
