THE town’s history group, Melksham and District Historical Association, has been working hard to revise and update a 1989 publication all about Melksham, just in time for Christmas.
The book entitled, Around Melksham in Old Photographs, is available to buy from Tourist Information Centre on Church Street and costs £9.95.
“Long-time members Cathy Berry and Ivan Turtle along with Andrea Whatley have extensively researched and updated the text with higher quality images included to increase the reader’s knowledge and pleasure,” says Paul Carter, chair of the historical association.
“A new generation can bring Melksham’s pictorial history into their home,” says Paul.
