JOIN Melksham and District Historical Association at the Assembly Hall for an evening of members’ memories which will be presented by fellow member Gill Butler.
Gill has collected together memories of past times in Melksham from association members with recollections of life and times in Melksham over the years.
The Melksham and District Historical Association was formed in 1962 to preserve and record for posterity the events and buildings in the town of Melksham and the surrounding area.
From September to April the association arranges meetings in the Assembly Hall with guest speakers and slide shows of local interest with May, June and July being reserved for visits to local places of interest and the annual outing, which takes place in July.
