LIBRA hairdressers have welcomed an experienced stylist to take over from their senior stylist while she is on maternity leave.
Lauren Milsom who has worked at the hairdressers for several years had an emotional last day recently as friends, colleagues and clients wished her luck as she prepares for the birth of her first child.
In preparation for Lauren leaving on maternity, Toni Lilley, a Melksham stylist with over seven years experience, has come in to get to know Lauren’s clients so she can do their hair whilst Lauren is away. The pair will then job share on Lauren’s return.
Owner of Libra salon, Nina Hillman said, “Lauren has been with us since she was just 18 and she has grown as a person and as a stylist and is now our senior stylist and a great person to work with.
“Toni has been with us a short time so clients can get to know her and build that trust with her while Lauren is away and Toni has proven to be a great choice. She gets on really well with clients and the rest of the staff and the transition has been really smooth.
“I wish Lauren all the best with the birth of her child and look forward to her returning.”
Mother-to-be Lauren said, “I would like to thank all my clients and the staff at Libra; I have been overwhelmed by their generosity and kind words. Since Toni came in it has been great and the transition for my clients couldn’t have gone better. They are in great hands with Toni and already I can see the trust they have in her. I’m looking forward to returning in the spring and working with Toni and the rest of the team.”
New stylist Toni said, “I have really enjoyed being here everyone has been very welcoming and the customers seem happy. I wish Lauren all the best and look forward to seeing her soon.”
